Want to keep your house looking decent most of the time? Here are a few easy tasks that will make it look clean even if it isn’t as clean as you think it should be.
Main Bathroom. Touch-up the main bathroom daily. Every bathroom is different, but a bathroom touch-up typically includes:
- Spot clean the mirror
- Wipe down the sink and countertop
- Wipe down the outside of the toilet
- Swish the toilet bowl with a toilet brush
- Dump the trash, if needed
Kitchen. Again, every kitchen is different but most kitchens look good if the dishes are done and the counters are clean. That’s it – just do the dishes and wipe up the counters.
Tidy. Go through the main areas of the house and put things away. Even if your house isn’t exactly clean, putting away the clutter makes it look clean! And if you’re thinking that takes too long, it doesn’t take as long as you think! Time it if you don’t believe me.
That’s it. Work on these three areas daily and your house will look pleasingly pleasant most of the time.
