Really – these rolls only take 60 minutes. I think this recipe came from my Kitchen-Aid cookbook but I’m not sure. I’ve been making them a long time! They’re quick (for rolls), easy and delicious.
-
1 cup milk
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup butter
- 4-5 cups flour
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
Combine milk, water and butter and heat to 120 or 130 degrees.
In bowl, combine 3-1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Gradually add warm liquids to flour mixture. Mix. Add remaining flour until soft dough forms. Knead. Let rise in greased bowl 15 minutes.
Shape into rolls (I make 16). Let rise 15 minutes.
Bake at 400 degrees for 7 or 8 minutes or until light golden brown. Brush each roll with melted butter.

Yes these are from the Kitchen-Aide cookbook. I’ve made them and , you’re right, they are easy and delicious!
