Butterfinger candy bars are one of those things you either love or hate. When I was a kid I HATED them. You would have thought someone had given me poo covered rocks when I was handed one.

Fast forward to 10 years ago when I married that hunka man of mine. He LOVES Butterfinger. (of course he does!) So we would occasionally, (like every other night or so) one or the other of us would have a hankering for chocolate.

I could go into a huge tangent about my Saturday mornings in the 80’s and the PSA song “Hanker for a hunka Cheese” song. But I won’t. Ok I cant help myself. Here ya go!

Flashback:

Whew, now that we have that out of the way.

So on our midnight runs if I went out I would get something along the lines of a Snickers bar, or a Milky Way. But he would always get M & M’s or Butterfinger.

Long story short. He contaminated me. Totally and completely. In SO many ways, but the candy bar contamination is one of the most notable. Yet we are still married! What are the odds?

If you love Butterfinger candy bars and you love cookies, you’re going to LOVE this recipe for Butterfinger Cookies.  They are delicious and a fun spin on the classic peanut butter cookie.

A Helping Hand

3-things-about-mew_zpswnr08d94Disclaimer:

I love to bake some things but I am not a master at it. However, I know someone who is.

Her name is Pam and she blogs over at Keeping Life Creative. She also happens to have the unfortunate luck of living a block from me and going to church with me. Basically as much as she might want to she can’t escape me.

So I say all this to say she is the talent behind the photos you see and will be helping me make sure I can share recipes with you that are sure not to make your dog growl at you because you gave him the burnt food no one else would eat.
