Ok, so not all of us have a green thumb but most of us like the look of a vase of fresh flowers sitting on the table in our home. Here are some things you can do to get the look you love without the hassle of dying plants.
Keep em loose – when you by artificial flowers, they usually come in bundles. Separate them stem by stem from the bundle. This gives you more freedom in placing and arranging.
Keep your bouquet small – a million flowers crammed into a vase tends to scream “fake!” Pick a few favorites and keep them relaxed.
Add some green – keep some of the leaves that come with the flowers or buy a separate selection of greens. Greens look natural and can add a fresher look to your arrangement.
Try a wide-mouth vase or even a clear drinking glass – some of the prettiest flowers are the ones that are quickly picked from the yard and popped into a glass of fresh water. Using a wide-mouth vase or drinking glass gives it an even more authentic look.
