GE Single Serve Blender is a Winner!

My husband likes to make smoothies and protein shakes.  He uses a hand held blender we’ve had for years.  It works pretty well but I’ve always thought it would be cool to have one of the expensive single serving blenders.  But they were so pricey I never could bring myself to buy one.

Recently my sister-in-law shared with me how she’d been losing weight drinking BodyByVi shakes.  She’d been trying to lose weight for years and had only had minimal success.  But once she started drinking the shakes, she broke her plateau and lost her final pounds.  If you’re interested, you can see her before and after photos here.

But as impressive as Lori’s weight loss success is, it isn’t the point of this article.  When we were talking about the shakes, Lori mentioned that she had considered getting one of the more expensive single serving blenders but in the end she got a $20 GE blender from Wal-mart.  I was intrigued.  I still wanted one for my husband’s smoothies and protein shakes so I checked it out and took the plunge.

I LOVE it!  It is so easy to use and convenient.  And for $20, it’s a great deal.  It makes whipping up smoothies and protein shakes quick and easy.  And the bonus is that you only dirty one dish.  You make the smoothie in the same container you drink it from.  Anytime I can keep from dirtying more dishes, that’s a win-win.

So if you’ve seen the cheaper models and wondered if they were worth the money, in my opinion (and Lori’s), this one definitely is.
