Here’s a novel idea: What if you only bought white towels and sheets? “Why?” you ask. I’d love to share!
Technically speaking, you can use bleach on colors if you do it right, BUT hard water, detergent and that bit of bleach can cause colors to fade fast. Within a few months of buying new towels and/or sheets, they look . . . um . . . well . . . loved.
If, however, you only purchase white sheets and towels, you can bleach them worry-free, omit the fading factor (since white is as faded as it gets!) and keep those whites bright and looking like new! Not only does using the bleach whiten the whites but it kills any of those stubborn germs that the hot water and detergent might miss.
From now on, all my towels and sheets will be white! How ’bout you?
