Homemade Taco Seasoning

Tired of spending big bucks on store bought taco seasoning?  Need a homemade version for those times you forgot to buy seasoning (like I did last week)?   I’ve tried several homemade taco seasoning recipes but this is my favorite.

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Mix together.  Yields about 3 tablespoons which equals one package of taco seasoning.
