Kitchen timers are my best friend. I use them when I’m cooking but I also use them for many other things.
I use timers:
- to remind me to switch my laundry.
- to alert me when it’s time to leave for appointments.
- to set limits when I’m working on a project.
- to motivate me. Sometimes it’s hard to get started on something so I set the timer for 15 minutes and tell myself I’ll work on it until the timer goes off. Usually once I get started I don’t have any trouble continuing with the next item on my “to do” list.
