Peach Crunch

I’ve been making this recipe for years!  It’s simple and quick and inexpensive to make.

Mix together:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup sugar

Add:

  • 1 beaten egg

Cut up 1 large can (29 ounces) sliced peaches with juice in a baking dish (you can use a pie plate or a casserole dish).  Top with dry mix and then ½ stick of melted butter.

Bake at 375 for 35 minutes.  Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.  Top with walnuts or almonds.
