Cinnamon toast is, in my opinion, a comfort food.  I grew up on it and I still love it. My mom made it by toasting the bread, spreading it with butter, sprinkling some sugar and then cinnamon and then using the knife to gently combine the toppings.  Yum.  Makes me want some right now!
