Who doesn’t love macaroni and cheese?! I sure do!
Sometimes I’m in the mood for “Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese;” sometimes I want Kraft Macaroni & Cheese (you know, the box mix with the cheese powder); and sometimes I’ve got to have Velveeta Macaroni & Cheese.
So when the craving for Velveeta Macaroni & Cheese hits, I break out the box of Velveeta (a staple at my house) and the macaroni and make it myself. Here’s how to do it.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 12 ounces Velveeta, cubed
- 1/3 cup milk
Directions:
Cook macaroni according to package directions (you can substitute other pastas if you want but the smaller pastas taste the best).
Drain macaroni and return to the pan. Add Velveeta and milk and cook over medium heat, stirring until Velveeta is melted.

What’s your favorite kind of Macaroni & Cheese?

Stopping by from SITS…. I so love mac and cheese as well. I like your simple easy recipe and will try it. My favorite mac and cheese dish was from the restaurant Cracker Barrel and they added sausage, chicken breast pieces, and some kind of a cracker topping.. OH was it good!! so worth the fat content!! ha ha
That sounds really good! Macaroni & Cheese is SO versatile!
Thanks for stopping by.
This is my children’s favorite version. Now I’m craving it!
I knew that would happen. There’s something about mac & cheese!
