Menu planning and grocery shopping was a little complicated this week due to the forecasted major snow event.  What that meant – again – was that my regular grocery store day fell the day before the storm – seems like that’s happened a lot this winter.  Anyway, I didn’t feel like fighting the crowds so I postponed going and made due with what was in the pantry.  Here’s what I came up with:

Salmon & Dill Sauce with
Lemon Risotto (NEW)
(still left over from last week)

  1. Your avoid the grocery store menu sounds pretty good! I love the idea of putting all the different partial bags of chips in the cookies. I may have to try that sometime soon. Hopefully, the snow will all melt by the weekend and we can be just that tiny bit closer to spring.

    1. Do you think so, Jean? Do you think spring is really coming??? I have been hearing birds chirping and that gives me hope.

      The cookies were delicious!
